About TM$

History - Team Money$hot started as a group of friends who rode quads recreationally. One of the group members had been pursuing racing and while joking around some other friends came up with the name Team Money$hot. For a while, no one was particularly interested in racing. Through some coaxing and prodding more and more friends from this group of recreational riders decided to give racing a try. Team Money$hot more than doubled it’s membership within a few months, and continues to grow steadily now containing nearly 50 members from Washington, Oregon, and Arizona.

Because Team Money$hot was formed by a group a friends the focus is really on that friendship and having fun together. If it’s one thing we do well, it’s having fun, and we are excited for the future of Team Money$hot and the friends we have made through this experience.

Joining TM$ - How do you join Team Money$hot? There isn’t a concrete way to do it really. There isn’t an application you fill out, no interview, no testing process. Basically, if we think the only thing keeping you from being a team member is the fact that you don’t have any $ stickers on your bike, chances are we’ll induct you. If we think you are an example of the things we like to see and exemplify – such as good sportsmanship, or generosity through helping others, among other things – and if we know you are interested in becoming a member, you’ll probably be at the top of our list for candidates. The best way to become a member is to hang out with us as much as possible at the track, off the track, and on Pittraffic.com. That way we’ll get to know you, you’ll get to know us, and then it can be determined if becoming a Team Money$hot member is right for you.

If you don’t “get in” don’t take it personally. We have many members and the group dynamic may not permit us to add members. Our track friends have become a valuable part of our experience and enjoyment at the races and while we can’t invite everyone to join (what fun would it be if everyone at a race was on the same team?), everyone is welcome at our camp.
