Quick 5 with Collins Webster

Many people recognize Collins Webster for his WORCS career. In 2007 he joined the series and in 2011 he decided it was more than just a hobby. He won the Pro-Am championship in 2011 and then followed it up last year with a 2nd in the championship run. He was also on the Can-Am team that claimed the Baja 1000 victory in 2012. Cweb started racing at 16 and claimed a BITD championship early with veteran desert and WORCS racer Cody Mitchell. Now, in 2013, Collins has stepped into the Pro class to prove his mettle at the highest rank. We caught up with him to get some quick answers about his career.

Josh Frederick Update

As you might have seen, the finalization of the Josh Frederick Foundation (Click here for their Facebook) is being cemented into place for his recovery, and for research into spinal injuries. There will be a silent auction from Pro Motorsports and they are still taking donations, there will be a big ride day at Cahuilla Creek on June 8th to benefit Josh, and there’s a shirt and hat being sold from WORCS. With help from the Quad Mafia, we are organizing a few other ways to help Josh and his family, including a letter/card campaign and sweatshirt signing to send to him, mostly from the NW riders that adore Josh, but anyone is welcome to participate. We’ll have details on that later, but for now, financial contributions should be handled directly through the channels outlined on the WORCS website.
