Ryno Power Summer Smoothie Recipes

Tired of the same ol’ protein routine? Mix it up with some great smoothie recipes from Ryno Power. We absolutely love the Chocolate PB smoothie (we use almond butter) with a dash of cinnamon and some chia seeds. It’s a wonderful way to start the day! We stock, use, and swear by Ryno Power.  Check out the recipes below, and then head to our store to check out the Ryno Power!

We got the scoop from Ruby on some of his favorite products to run. Here is what he picked out as essentials for 2015:

Flexx Handlebars. Not only do they look awesome but they greatly decrease my arm pump and help with control. Phil Cole ATV Fitness Program. Phil Cole is an amazing dude. He designs workouts to prepare you for the up and coming race season. It’s been kicking my butt, but I can’t thank him enough. Shoot him an email and tell him Ruby sent you.  Dyna-flex pro plus. USA vs Canada – whose side are you on?

Our Canadian riders have challenged us to a shirt-off. Well, not like take you shirt off, just who can get the most shirts sold. We have in the Blue corner the American Flag Shirt, and in the Red corner, the Canadian Flag shirt. The side that sells the most shirts gets $5 from each shirt sold to a charity.

MyPakage Review

You may have heard us praise the glory that is MyPakage underwear. We’ve said things like, “super comfy” and “stylish” and a host of other descriptors – all true! But this is a long term review of their Weekend and Weekday shorts as well as their new offering of Pro Tights.

mypakage-protightFirstly, let’s cover the OG weekend and weekday. MyPakage’s chief draw (pun intended) is their keyhole technology. What’s that? It’s a pocket for your man keys. A soft, no stitching pocket that keeps you from having to ever make unsightly adjustments. Your woman will thank you for not embarrassing her in public. The keyhole snuggles your bits and keeps you from sticking, chafing, or otherwise being uncomfortable. The seams are all covered, so you never have to worry about irritation, and the material is called Modal. A super soft semi-synthetic that often comes from Beech trees. It’s a type of rayon, softer than cotton, resistant to shrinkage, and is supposed to be highly moisture wicking. After over a year of use, all the weekend and weekday pairs we have are still going strong and are as comfortable as ever.

Unfortunately, our original pairs of MyPakage have some pilling of the fabric, and some waistbands with waves in them when not being worn. However, no holes, and not stretched out. They still fit and they are still soft. We’re long-term testing some of their new designs, so can’t speak to them yet.

Clean Machine

Getting your ride all purrdy and getting new gear is part of what keeps you excited about racing during the off season, right? Everyone loves spicing their quad up with new parts, bad ass graphics, and trying on their state-of-the-art protective gear. Now, once you get it Facebook and Instagram worthy, you have to keep up appearances while at the track for your sponsors. Also, keeping your beast clean is better for maintenance. I am going to give you, in no particular order, 5 must haves to put in your race rig to keep you and your steed fresh.

Stating the obvious, you need a pressure washer. I recommend Landa. We have never had an issue with either of our gas or electric units. Personally, I find gas or diesel powered more convenient. You aren’t always going to be at a track or campground with power hook-ups. They also tend to have higher PSI. Electric pressure washers are more affordable, can be more compact, and still get the job done. There is always the option of asking around to borrow one. The quad community is usually pretty friendly (unless water is limitied). Know the track’s rules as some have specific wash stations or areas they don’t want you washing at. Find a Landa dealer near you at http://www.landa.com/

Quad75 Reviews Spider Graphics

10535633_10152319683592087_4359389991834915554_oThis year was my first year being sponsored by Spider Graphix. I’ve come a long ways from a couple of well-placed stickers on my 250R plastics and have tried many different companies. I didn’t know what to expect from Spider, but they have a lot of riders back East as well as a few names out West.

Firstly, their staff is super friendly. It’s nice to be greeted pleasantly on the phone, instead of some shops that are always “too busy” to be pleasant to you. You won’t find that here.

Secondly, I sent a sponsor list and some general requirements over to them, and the turnaround on my proof was SUPER fast. It was so nice to have something to look at so quickly! It made the process that much easier.
