Colten Moore and the Moore family have expressed their gratitude for the thoughts, prayers, and kind words of friends, fans, and strangers, and a most unfillable void has opened in the hearts of the community. While I never had the opportunity to meet him, there’s no doubt that Caleb Moore was an outstanding person who touched many people’s hearts and lives, inspiring, smiling, and being kind. All this outpouring of grief and gratefulness really make me wish I had met him.

When Caleb passed it broke so many bonds and closed out an era for ATV riding and Snowmobiling. And from this end where will we turn next? It’s hard to say, but the community will move forward and progress as life goes on and people return to what they know. Caleb has left a legacy that will survive. It will empower, influence, and it will not be forgotten. Just like Caleb himself. To live in the hearts of others is to never die, and Caleb Moore’s immortality is essentially guaranteed with fans, friends, and family as good as his.

Take a second to be thankful for those you love. There are no guarantees they’ll be here tomorrow. Rest in peace Caleb Moore.

…now, later, next year, forever.
