From Amy McCoy: This weekend is the Double Header at Rainier! Racing both Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is the make-up day for the Double Points Night that was rained out last month. We look forward to a great weekend of Racing in Rainier!
Here is some important information:
Saturday:
Gates Open at 11am
Sign-Up from Noon-3:30pm
Practice at 1:30pm
Racing at 4:45pm
Sunday Day Race Double Points:
Gates Open at 8am
Sign-Up at 9am-11am
Practice at 10am
Racing at Noon
On Sunday anyone who camps over night will have to leave the pits by 8am (D and W will be doing a pit sweep), and come pack in paying for a pit pass and signing the wavier. Riders will not be able to signup without the correct band. Also, on Sunday riders will only get 1 practice instead of the normal 2. This is to speed to program up so we can start racing at Noon, and everyone will have had plenty of practice the day before!
Sunday Morning there is going to be a Benefit Breakfast for Mike Harritt who broke a vertebrae in a crash at our last race. You will be able to get breakfast in the snack shack, and all profits will go towards helping Mike with medical bills and being out of work. The Flat Track Family has been a huge support in the past, so we hope you all will participate. As soon as I know more details I will let you know!
Reminder: Only vehicles that are hauling bikes, quads, or karts are allowed in the pits. All other vehicles must park outside the pits, and walk-in. This allows room for all racers to have a place to park. We thank you for your cooperation.
Pro Quad Riders will need to attend the riders meeting, and there will be a special meeting with just that class after the meeting is over. Please make sure you are there.
