Ryan hails from Oregon as a newly minted racer. He grew up riding quads, starting at the age of seven. For a long time he borrowed a friend’s Z400 and rode every weekend until he scored his first quad a 2003 Z400. Racing was always on Ryan’s mind, but finances kept him away until just last year. In 2011 Ryan upgraded to a 450 and took home two wins overall at his first two races. Hungry for more, you can expect to see Ryan tearing it up this year and in future years, but until QXNW starts in March, you can read about him in this edition of Getting to Know.

What is your favorite part of riding a quad? That’s a hard question, I love everything about it. Even the crashing.
What is your dream quad? Factory KFX450r
What are your racing goals for 2012? To race my first full season in the Quadcross Northwest. And to improve as a rookie racer.
What is your biggest ambition? To go pro in ATV motocross, making a name for myself.
