Pro Motorsports’ Matthew Hancock takes 2nd in SxS 1000 class at Primm

Pro Motorsports’ Matt Hancock Takes Second in the SxS 1000 Class at WORCS Round 2

Primm, NV –
At round two of the 2014 WORCS Series, Pro Motorsports’ Matt Hancock had a very successful weekend in his SxS and on his ATV. With a second place finish in the UTV 1000 Class and a podium finish in the Open A class followed by a sixth place in Pro-Am Class, Hancock was satisfied with his impressive finishes and is looking forward to moving on to round three.

In the UTV 1000 Class, Hancock started on the front row, and after getting off to a slow start, he quickly rebounded to move up into the fourth spot by the end of lap one, which is where he remained till the final lap. With time running out, Hancock put on an incredible charge and recorded the fastest lap-time in the class to charge his way up to the second spot for a season best finish in the UTV 1000 class after taking third at the WORCS season opener

matt2Hancock was thrilled about how his Pro Motorsports’ Polaris RZR performed for the nearly hour long race. His Walker Evans suspension seemed to work flawless as his RZR handled even the roughest sections of the track with ease. “Between my Maxxis tires and Tire Blocks, my RZR was hooking up great, and I could hit anything without worrying about getting a flat,” said Hancock.

In the ATV Open A Class, the defending WORCS champion, Hancock, raced his way to yet another podium finish taking the third spot, and qualified fourth for the Pro-Am main event. In the Pro-Am class, Hancock was running in the top five for the majority of the race, but in the end, he finished in the sixth spot to gain some valuable points.

After two rounds of racing, Hancock is tied for the second spot in the Pro-Am Class, and he is looking forward to heading to his home state of Arizona for the round three where he hopes to finish back on the podium in the Pro-Am class.

“My Elka shocks and Sparks engine were working great in the Pro-Am race, but I just fell short of finishing where I wanted to, but overall it was still a pretty good weekend with a second place finish in the SxS class and a podium finish in the Open A Class, said Hancock on his results at round two of the WORCS series.

Matt Hancock will be in action on March 14-16th for round three of the WORCS series in Lake Havasu City, AZ for another busy weekend of racing in the Open A, Pro Am, and the UTV 1000 classes with his Pro Motorsprots crew.
