Pit Traffic member and former Pro racer Mike Bender (aka Titanium aka Sadie’s dad) has been racing for a long time, and has several championships under his belt – including multiple A & Pro-Am championships from WORCS in the same year. He was also a part of the winning class 24 Baja 1000 team for 2010 (who also took the overall ATV win). On top of all that, he has a badass username and takes pictures in snazzy shirts (like in the photo below). In this issue of “Getting to Know” Bender reveals that his track choices are questionable, and he has similar tastes in music as his daughter (as you will find out next week). Regardless of his favorites, Mike Bender is an all-around good guy and an asset to our racing community. Look for Mike at WORCS, OMRA, and other cross-country or desert races.
